Buying a Brassiere

Diane, a recent survivor of breast cancer, is shopping for her first mastectomy brassiere. Marie, a French bra fitter, represents the world's view of women's ideal shape.

Diane is torn between her desire to look young and beautiful and her superstition and fear that her cancer will return.

The Cagebirds

The "birds" are the eight women in the cast of this unusual play. Each one lives in a "cage," each totally absorbed in her particular characteristics.

Constantly shifting between light and darkness of mood, The Cagebirds provides great insights into human behavior, but they are told and revealed in a most unusual manner.
